Tamper Use

Traditional blenders come with a tamper. Therefore any ingredients which are thick can be pushed down onto the blades. A vacuum blender does not allow you to do this, as they do not have a tamper.

Flexibility

You are able to stop a traditional blender if you want to add more ingredients to your blender. This cannot be done with a vacuum blender as the vacuum is affected if you open the lid mid-blending.
